HAPPY MOTHER�S DAY!

It�s wonderful that, as a parent, you can play a key role in creating a more compassionate society, through your children!

We had a rare opportunity on 8 April. We gave presentations to two groups of kindergarten children � together with their parents – at MOE Kindergarten Punggol Green. Usually, the only chance for us to reach out to both the parent and child together is during our public roadshows. The impact made can be so much greater when the child�s family members are around!

As we spoke to and interacted with the children, we knew that the parents were listening attentively as well. Some even approached us afterwards to find out more about ACRES and helping animals. This is so important because many times, children need an adult to reiterate what they have learned or experienced, in order to ensure more of the message is retained.

Parents play such crucial roles in their children�s growth. We hope that all parents will join in our efforts to cultivate our young to become compassionate and responsible individuals.
