My name is Jaew Born and I lived on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, for most of my 8 years.

Then someone shot me! I was in agony and ran away in terror. Luckily a kind man found me and called Soi Dog.

The vets tried to save my leg but it was impossible. I am getting around on three legs now and coping well. I still don’t enjoy walking far but my spirit has not been affected. I am a little shy at first but, once I get to know you, I am very affectionate and love attention.

I have not given up hope yet. I believe that I will find a family who have the time and patience to help me rebuild my confidence. Don’t let my condition put you off, I have a heart of gold and can’t wait to share it with you!

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
