FOUR 12 YEAR-OLDS CAME FORWARD TO HELP ANIMALS

Last month, we welcomed four students to our wildlife rescue centre. You might be wondering: why were there only four students?

These Year 6 students from Nexus International School – Camille, Georgia, Shagun and Sarah – came up with the idea to learn more about ACRES and helping animals. So they came to us, together with their teacher, to find out how youths like themselves can make a difference for animals.

After their visit, they invited us to their school and arranged for other classes to attend our talk, all by themselves. They also organised a bake sale to help raise funds for ACRES. Finally, they concluded their efforts with a school exhibition about protecting animals, spreading the message even wider, so that a bigger difference can be made for animals!

These compassionate youths have dedicated a total of 160 hours of their time to the animals, all within a short period of about two weeks! Thats really marvellous, dont you think?
