DAY BY DAY, THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

At 7 years of age, it looked like my life was over. Found outside a temple, I had a shocking tumour on my back that was causing me untold agony. My frail body had succumbed to a horrific case of mange that had caused all my hair to fall out. My name is Gage; I am a street dog of Thailand.

With nowhere to call home and no owner to care for us, we are the animals that need you most. When we are sick or injured and in desperate need of medical treatment, YOU are the only hope we have. Will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join Soi Dog’s Emergency Response Team so that more suffering animals like me can be helped?

The kind lady who found me took me to the Soi Dog shelter where, thanks to somebody like YOU funding my treatment, the vets were able to help me. In addition to the tumour on my back and the terrible mange, they said I was severely anaemic. There is no doubt that I wouldn’t have made it much longer without medical treatment.

I have turned a corner now. The vets needed to wait for me to get stronger before they could operate to remove the tumour on my back. This has now happened and I am recovering well. In other happy news, my hair is slowly starting to return, as you will see in my pictures.

Thanks to someone like you, just as I had given up, I was given a second chance. Will you please do the same for another suffering animal? By joining the Emergency Response Team, YOU will have a direct impact on sick and injured animals that have nobody to care for them. Please don’t turn away from their pain.

Visit https://ert.soidog.org/ to pledge whatever you can as a monthly gift that will save the lives of countless innocent animals like me each year.

Because the sad truth is that there is nobody else we can ask.
