My name is Gecko and I am a girl of over 7� years of age. I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter here in Phuket, Thailand, after getting my leg caught in a barbaric snare. The agony I was in was unbearable and it was sadly too late to save my leg.

I get by just fine on 3 legs but it has now been over 2� years since that sad day and I am still here. Nobody can understand why. Does nobody want a 3-legged dog?

If you can adopt me, I will need you to understand me. I was very scared of humans for a long time but I am slowly starting to trust again. I will need you to be patient and quiet when you meet me.

I don�t need a medal for my bravery, but I do deserve a home where I can feel safe. Are you patient and kind, do you have room in your life for a three legged lady that is timid like me? With time I will trust and love you. If I can open up my heart, can you?

I�ve been 2� years in a shelter. Please take me home.
