My name is Dusty. I�m a handsome boy who is nearly 4 years old. I used to live in the grounds of a local temple, where the kind monks fed me.

There were lots of other dogs at the temple – too many for me to cope with! And so some visitors thought I was being aggressive when I was only trying to protect my space. For my own safety, I was brought here to the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand.

I am very friendly with people. I get excited when volunteers come into my run to take me for a walk. Sometimes I get a bit too excited and jump up, because I am so happy to see people, but I�m learning to be a bit more calm.

I walk well on my lead, but sometimes I�m unsure of unfamiliar sounds and smells, and so I need patience and encouragement to get me moving.

I get along with most other dogs, but I generally prefer the company of female dogs. People tell me I�m a smart boy and that I would respond well to dog training classes.

Please don�t let me grow old in a shelter. I truly deserve a family of my own where I can finally feel settled and safe. Could you find it in your heart to adopt me?
