Cute Couple Owls Sewn By First-Timers!
Tweet | ![]() |
Jia-Wen and his friend, Sihui, really loved the latest owl I sewed, so both of them decided they would try their hand at sewing an owl for each other!
Here’s the finished product:
We started the hands-on tutorial last night, after dinner, at 9.00pm.
We selected the cloth that would be used, then proceeded to cut out the pieces needed.
Here’s Jia-Wen using the sewing machine for the very first time in his life.
The eyes and beak are hand-sewn. Both are totally new at this – handling needle and thread and the sewing machine.
That’s done. Now, for the little feet.
Feet done. Next is to fill them up with kapok.
Look at the clock behind them. It’s taken them 2.5 hours to get here.
AND…we’re done, folks!!
Aren’t these the cutest ever?
Well done! Finished in 3 hours!
Sihui has contributed RM50 to the Fund for the blue owl, and Jia-Wen, another RM50, for the pink owl!
Couple owls – anyone interested? It’s part of our fundraising project.
