I WAS FOUND WITH MY FRONT LEGS BRUTALLY HACKED

Terrified and in agony, I tried to run away but couldn�t. I didn�t understand that the man following me was trying to help me. Horrified by the condition in which he�d found me, he knew I desperately needed help.

Now that I am at the Soi Dog shelter, they have named me Wonderful. I am a small girl who is only about a year old. Dogs like me risk our lives every day. Here at the Soi Dog shelter, the vets are caring for me, but it is only thanks to people like you that they can. The wounds left on the remaining stumps of my two front legs were terribly infected and infested with maggots. The pain I was in was simply unimaginable.

Those agonising wounds have been cleaned out and I have been fitted with special bandages to help me walk. Already I am starting to move around and looking so much happier than when I arrived here. Can you believe that I am one of the lucky ones?
