WITHOUT YOU, WHAT HOPE IS THERE FOR DOGS LIKE ME?

Street dogs like me are all alone in the world. I am a girl of about five years of age and they have named me Furry. The story of how I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter is heart-breaking.

Hit by a car while I was looking for something to eat, I was left paralysed and incontinent. I couldn�t stand and walking was out of the question. A large wound on my body became seriously infected and eventually infested with maggots. I was bleeding from the mouth when a kind person found me and ran to call Soi Dog.

People like you are so vital to dogs like me. There is no other source of help for us. Thanks to compassionate animal lovers like you, I have been started on treatment and am beginning to turn a corner. Having refused all food on arrival, I have finally started eating again and taking my first tentative steps.
