Another Big Fight

I was in the room with the inside cats all evening until just a few minutes ago when the weather was just too humid and I decided to take a bath.

Just as I was taking the bath, I heard a cat fight. Oh oh…

I shouted from the bathroom for help to stop the fight, but by the time I got out, Ming-Yi was carrying Cow out and blood was streaming down from the inner corner of his left eye.

SIGH…not again, please.

Last time, it was his right eye that was scratched by Indy during a Cow-Indy fight and that took about 3 months and two surgeries to finally heal.

Ming-Yi and my husband cleaned off the blood and according to Ming-Yi, it appears that the blood came from the inside corner of Cow’s eye, not from across the eye.

Hopefully, it’s just a superficial wound.

And who was Cow fighting with this time?

Yes, it was with Cleo this time.

And there were tufts of Calico fur all over the pantry floor. There were a few drops of blood too.

This afternoon, I already witnessed a potential fight between Cleo and Cow. Cow was moving very slowly out of the door when Cleo came after him and ambushed him.  I saw that and I reprimanded Cleo.

Guess this was a follow-up. As you know, cats have great patience. They will wait for an opportune time to launch a counter-strike. Attack when you least expect it.

I don’t know who started this fight, but Cow suffered an injury and I hope and pray it’s only superficial.

Cow Mau, Cow Mau, Cow Mau…

Oh, why oh why…!
