SHERRY WANG � AN ART STUDENT WHO HAS A HEART FOR ANIMALS!

Sherry is an art student who�s currently studying arts and design at the RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. She spent two weeks of her holidays volunteering at ACRES in February. During her volunteer period, Sherry got to experience animal husbandry work, wildlife rescue operations, as well as our educational outreach programmes.

Sherry is a joyful, caring and compassionate person. She�s also an accomplished cook, and kindly shared her vegetarian cooking skills with other residents at ACRES during her stay!

We hope Sherry enjoyed her days at ACRES, and we certainly appreciate people like her who have a heart for animals!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
