Fifie was spayed last week under our sponsorship at our panel vet.
Ref: http://www.myanimalcare.org/2011/09/fifie-female-cat-spayed.html

Due to the efforts of Chen Chen and Connie, Fifie, who was previously a stray, is now a spayed community cat at their apartment block.

Here's updates from Chen Chen:

Hi Kah Yein,

Just to let you know that Fifie has been released from her cage yesterday morning. As you can see from the picture I took before releasing her that she is doing very well indeed. Next to her is an orange tabby which is her daughter (I think). Connie and I decided to leave her in the cage with Fifie during the recuperation period because both of them are very attached to each other.

Connie and I are discussing about the next stray cat to spay. She is a grey tabby called Blackie that is already about a year old. When we are ready to catch her, we'll let you know. After that would be Fifie's daughter (which you can see a bit in the picture) who is called Baby. She is about 3++ months old now.

Anyway, Connie and I have been exchanging cat stories. Remember the grey male tabby called Leggy last year? http://www.myanimalcare.org/2010/08/leggy-neutered.html He was neutered under Animalcare funds too but at the end he died of kidney failure. It seems that he was Fifie's father.

We are both very grateful to you for setting up the Animalcare funds and the education for people to CNRM. Without it, cats like Fifie would not have benefited. So keep up the good work and don't let the horrible irresponsible thoughtless humans make you loose heart in the work. They are everywhere - not just in animal rescue work but also in children welfare and human trafficking matters (lots of horrible stories there!!!). So every good bit from everyone counts so that the bad guys don't get to win at the end!

Cheers!
Chen

Thanks, Chen and Connie. We are always so thankful for updates our the animals who have crossed our paths and come under our assistance for medical help.
