Heidi Had A Scare Of Her Life

This morning, while I was at work, there was an “incident” at home. I didn’t see any of it, so below is my narration based on my son, Jia-Wen’s report.
Bunny knows he can get anything he wants when Jia-Wen is back home and one of the things Bunny wants is to get out of Bunny’s Place and explore “the rest of the world”.
So, Bunny always gets trips out when Jia-Wen is home.
He got a trip out today and Jia-Wen had left him in the garden while he (Jia-Wen) went to prepare some breakfast.
Jia-Wen could keep an eye on Bunny while being in the kitchen and he saw Bunny sniffing at Heidi who was sitting on the patio chair.
Don’t know what happened after that, but before he knew it, he heard the sound of cats running and Bunny’s war cries.
He rushed out and found Bunny “vulturing” (that’s our own word, to mean a cat towering over another, often helpless cat). Normally, Heidi doesn’t get cornered like this, or she always fought back, but this time, Heidi had clearly lost the battle. She was lying on her back, all four legs flailing in the air. Bunny was towering over her, about to “attack”.
Jia-Wen rushed over and managed to stop Bunny in his tracks by using the broom to push Bunny away. Heidi found a window to quickly scuttle off.
But Bunny was angry as his moment of victory was robbed from him, what more, by a broom, so he attacked the broom.
Bunny came back and poor Zurik was on the table, minding his own business. Bunny went for Zurik, but Zurik wouldn’t budge. Jia-Wen used the broom to push Bunny away again, and this time, enough was enough, Bunny bit the broom.
“Take that, you broom, take that, and that, and that!”
By the time I came home for lunch, all was well.
And just now, at dinner time, Heidi was intimidating Cow at the grille.
Heidi, I wouldn’t do that if I were you.
But I’m not a cat, so….
Bunny is okay.
Doesn’t he look totally innocent?
And to think this is the same cat who towered and “vultured” over Heidi, disabling the matriarch?!!
