We’re looking for 2 volunteers for our Knowledge Management Centre:

The Knowledge Management Centre at WWF-Malaysia aims to impart and enhance conservation knowledge through relevant reading materials, online learning and provision of spaces for public engagement and education. The centre, which is sponsored by Senheng, has a niche collection of about 5000 titles on various topics related to conservation and environment that were collected since the establishment of WWF-Malaysia. Everyone will have the opportunity to self learn and equip themselves with better knowledge and skills to meet the ever evolving opportunities and challenges in conservation work today.The centre is now undergoing operational improvements and will eventually be opened to the public.

Position: Volunteer

Working Location: Knowledge Management Centre, WWF Malaysia’s PJCC office

Duration: February 2016 to December 2016

Responsibilities:

- To assist the Knowledge Management Centre staff in cataloguing library materials.

- To shelve the catalogued materials and assist in improving the shelving arrangement.

- To improve the retrieval of library materials through appropriate signs and labels.
