MY STORY IS SIMPLY HEART-BREAKING

I have endured unbearable suffering. I am an older girl of about 8 now, and they have named me Radisson. I was found by a lady who noticed that I had a serious injury to my left eye. She asked around the area, trying to find my owner, but the people told her I had simply appeared there and they thought I must have been abandoned.

The lady brought me to the Soi Dog shelter where the vets examined me. They said it seemed like I had been hit by a car, which had caused the terrible injury to my eye. Sadly, the damage was extensive and I had in fact been blinded in both eyes.

As if that wasn�t bad enough, worse was to come. I had to be sent for an x-ray to diagnose the extent of my injuries and that procedure revealed an even more traumatic truth. While I had escaped any serious fractures, the car accident had killed my unborn baby.

Who knows what happened that lead to this terrible chain of events in an older girl�s life? It is very possible that my owner dumped me upon realising I was pregnant. Having not grown up as a street dog, I would have no idea how to protect myself against the dangers. Now I am suffering the consequences of my owner�s cruel actions.

Please be the one who makes a difference for animals like me. The sick, injured, abused and abandoned dogs and cats of Thailand have nobody if they don�t have you. We are some of the world�s most neglected animals and without you, the suffering will simply go on.

I am safe now and I hope that somebody out there might open their heart and home to me soon. Meanwhile, what of the others?
