Dear Friends,

There are 4 puppies at the shelter waiting to be fostered. They have been dewormed and deflea.  Would you like to help and be part of our fostering team?   If you choose to be, thank you so much.

Let us brief you on the conditions for acceptance and your responsibilities as a foster family.  Questions often asked like:

WHY FOSTER?

1.  `At risk' (under 3 mths old) puppy/kitten who are fostered have less health and behavioural problems and are better able to cope when returned to the shelter environment.

2. You are quite possibly saving their lives as well as helping to give them chances of being adopted.

3. You are also aiding the shelter in freeing the quarantine kennel space for other animals brought in and reducing some financial strain.

How long do I have to foster?

Fostering period varies from 2 weeks till 2 months depending on the age of the pups at date of admission.

What do I do when I foster the pups/kittens?

1. You can give them lots of tender loving care but don't spoil as they will be returned to live in kennels until adopted.

2. Feed them the advised diet

3. Do give them time alone so they are used to being by themselves for part of the day so the return will not be traumatic for them

4. All care costs are your responsibility including veterinary if necessary.

Who are eligible?

1. People who love animals but not able to have a life long commitment.

2. People who are willing to keep themselves occupied while at home.

3. People who are working from home and would not mind helping out.

For more details, kindly email or call us at 04-2816559

 Thank you.
