SAVED FROM TORTURE AND SLAUGHTER

My name is Jedi. Will you please ADOPT me? Please EMAIL all questions to cristy@soidog.org

I was so afraid – I was grabbed from the street and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

I am bigger and it hurt being in the metal cage with other dogs. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border.

I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a special shelter for dog meat trade survivors. I was pretty scared; there were so many dogs.

I am a lovely friendly boy who is very affectionate. Although I am very friendly with people, if challenged by other dogs I won’t take any nonsense. I am about 4˝ years old and would be suitable in a home with a female dog.

I also have hip dysplasia, which will probably need ongoing care as I get older. I really hope this doesn’t put you off; please give me a chance.

If you have a place in your heart for a dog that needs it more than most, please EMAIL all questions to cristy@soidog.org
