The Heavyweight And Lightweight Contest

It was way back in 2014 that we weighed all the cats, so it’s time we do it again now.

It was supposed to be a heavyweight contest, so we started with the boys this morning…

Cow Mau (6.4 kg)

The reigning champion is still Cow, at 6.4 kg and this was a bit shocking as he only weighed 5.95 kg at the vet’s when he had his anal sac rupture a few months ago. He has gained 450g since then. Sigh… We need to go on a diet, Cow.

Bunny (6.2 kg)

Bunny used to be 6.0 kg and it’s a 200g weight gain. We need to lose that weight too, Bunny.

It must be the new Equilibrio kibbles that they are eating. They just love it.

That’s it….no more supper!

Tiger (5.9 kg)

Why are you hiding, Tiger?

Ginger (5.7 kg)

Ginger definitely needs to lose some weight.

Vincent (5.7 kg)

It must be all his muscles that contributes to his weight as Vincent doesn’t look fat.

Indy (5.6 kg)

Standing svelte and athletic, aren’t we? It proves that it’s not how much you eat but how well your body metabolises food. Indy eats like crazy, yet there is not an ounce of fat on him. He is all muscle.

The girls were going to abstain from the contest, but we wanted to know their weights too, so we introduced a lightweight contest for them.

Tabs (5.0 kg)

Well, it’s okay, Tabs. You do have some European shorthair in you and you are big-boned.

Rosie (4.8 kg)

You’re a big cat, Rosie.

Heidi (4.1 kg)

Daffodil (3.9 kg)

Still petite and sweet.

Cleo (3.4 kg)

And here’s our lightweight champion…

Pole (3.0 kg)
Ever svelte, with Audrey Hepburn’s elegance but super strong!
Poldrey Hepburn?!!

Well, he wasn’t around tonight, so he’s not in today’s contest.
I doubt he would be any fight for the heavyweight championship!
