I WAS BORN INTO A WORLD WITH NOBODY TO LOVE ME

When I was born, it was not in a home, with humans to love me. It was on a lonely street, like so many others. This was my introduction to the world, and things only got worse. My name is Unaiza.

I am only 4 months old and was just getting to grips with the world around me when I was hit by a car. It was early in the morning; I was probably curious about something I�d seen or perhaps trying to find some food. I ran into the street and everything went black.

It was a man on his way to work who hit me. He never had a chance to stop before it was too late. Scooping me up, he drove me straight to the vets at Soi Dog. And this is where the support of people like you saved me.

The members of the Care for Cats Club are people like you, all over the world, who understand the suffering of homeless cats. It is their membership that allows Soi Dog to provide life-saving treatment to cats like me.

I am lucky that nothing was broken in that terrible accident but the vets say I do have an abdominal hernia. I will need to have surgery for this when I am a little bit stronger. Meanwhile, I am still one of the lucky ones.

As you read this, homeless street cats are suffering. They are sick or injured, they are being abused or have been abandoned.
