Red-eared terrapins live exceptionally long, between 20 to 50 years to be exact and can grow up to the size of a dinner plate sometimes bigger!

Before, acquiring a terrapin, please make sure you are ready for the life-long commitment; otherwise we strongly recommend that you don�t get one!
