THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NOBODY LOVES YOU

I am only 2 years of age and they have named me Quella. I was found with multiple wounds on my back legs. How I got these will never be known, but it was clear I was suffering a great deal. Left untreated in this tropical climate, these wounds would have quickly become infected and with that comes the possibility of blood poisoning and a slow, agonising death.

I am also suffering from a severe case of mange. It has already caused me to lose all the fur on the lower half of my body. It has caused terrible itching, which in turn has led to weeping, open sores where I constantly scratched but got no relief. This is the life of an unloved street dog.

Despite the sadness of my situation, I am still considered one of the lucky ones. Thanks to people like you, I am now receiving the medical treatment I so desperately needed. The vets say I am eating well and that this will help to speed up my recovery.

Please think for a moment what would happen to me without the donations that are funding my care. There would be nowhere else for me to go; simply no hope of treatment. My suffering would have continued, leading ultimately to a lonely, painful death for a dog that had never known love.
