I had nobody to care for me when I seriously injured myself. Street dogs like me live without any human owners, without ever knowing a home of our own. My name is Ornamental and I am about 3 years of age now.

I was in agony when found by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog. A serious wound on my left front leg meant that I was unable to walk or put any weight on it. Whimpering in pain, I hobbled about on three legs. The Animal Rescue Officer scooped me up and took me to the Soi Dog shelter.

Sadly, the vets here say that the injury to my leg is so severe it will have to be amputated, but as I am also extremely weak at the moment, they need to get me strong enough for surgery first. My future is dependent on people like you. There is simply nobody else.

The members of Soi Dog�s Emergency Response Team are animal lovers just like you, all over the world. It is only thanks to them that seriously sick and injured street animals like me can be rescued and given life-saving medical treatment.
