MORE RESCUES FROM EXTREME COLD IN ROMANIA

All week we’ve been reaching out to rescuers in Romania where extreme cold has created a very dangerous situation for thousands of homeless animals. Yet again, our amazing teammate Norica Prigoana was in the right place at the right time to save one of them:

“Very late in night, almost midnight, a little girl who is pregnant, limping ,hungry & frozen asked for help,” Norica said. “Only if you had a heart of stone could you pass her on this most cold night. Vali’s (Norica’s husband) heart also could not let him leave this little pregnant dog in the cold on this night which will be – 19 degrees. She jumped into Vali’s arms and curled up in his thick coat just so he would not leave her alone on the streets. Now, this small pregnant lady sits calmly on a soft blanket to warm herself & rest.”

We have a LOT of distress calls coming in from Romania this week. We have to keep funds flowing for food and veterinary care for the influx of dogs and cats. THANK YOU to everyone who is helping us by sharing and donating.
