NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: 15 JANUARY 2016
Seah Im is a reticulated python who was found resting on a lamp post at a busy traffic junction. We
had calls pouring in from concerned members of the public and the police regarding Seah Im. During our
visits, we realised that he was unreachable with the equipment we have on hand. Thankfully the Land Transport Authority We Keep Your World Moving helped us by immediately sending a crane over, so that our rescue officers could get to
Seah Im.
The LTA contractors were very helpful, making it a safe and perfect rescue.
We are glad that the
python was not injured (and very cooperative).
Thank you Ling, our volunteer rescue officer on duty that night!
Do remember to call the ACRES 24-hour Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 9783 7782 if you spot any wild
animal in Singapore who may need some help.
Have a pleasant weekend!
