I WAS RESCUED FROM TORTURE AND SLAUGHTER

I am a 4 year old boy and my name is James. Will you please email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me?

I was so afraid I was grabbed from the street and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

It hurt being in the metal cage with so many other dogs. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border with what lay ahead for us at the time, they were the lucky ones.

I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter for survivors of the dog meat trade. I was pretty scared there were so many dogs.

Okay, I will be honest now…I am a handful. I am not very good with many other dogs, I love to lunge at them and I am currently having lessons on how to behave better. I would be suited to a more experienced adopter who knows how to handle dogs like me. I am just lovely and friendly with people!

Soi Dog want to help me find a forever home so if you have a place in your heart to adopt me please contact cristy@soidog.org.

I have heard great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and am not fussy I will like to live in any one of these places. My only request is that it is with a family who loves me.

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends survivors of the dog meat trade to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise all of it for you. If YOU can give James the home he needs, please email cristy@soidog.org
