WILL YOU HELP BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL HE HAS?

THEY FOUND ME SHIVERING AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

I was only 3 months old and all alone. They called me Han Solo. I was found by a kind lady and her sister as they drove through driving rain late at night. They spotted me as I darted in to the road, narrowly avoiding being hit by a truck.

Stopping the car, the lady picked me up and was shocked by how cold I felt. I was weak and listless and although obviously terrified, I lacked the energy to bark or fight her. I simply collapsed in her arms.

The lady and her sister brought me to the nearest vet clinic, where the vet told them I had clearly been dumped. The area where they found me was in the middle of nowhere, with no housing or people.

The vet said it looked like I hadn’t eaten for days. I needed IV fluids and a blood transfusion, after which I was placed in an incubator for the night. The next day, I was transferred to the Soi Dog shelter.

Thanks to people like you, the vets at Soi Dog are caring for me now. I am suffering from a fungal infection of my skin which has caused me to lose a lot of my fur. I have also been diagnosed with blood parasites and intestinal parasites. How sad my introduction to life has been.

I stand a chance now – because of people like you. I am getting the medical treatment I need and I hope that one day, I will find the home I deserve, where I will never be abandoned again. Will you please help those that are still suffering?

Joining Soi Dog’s Emergency Response Team is the biggest way you can help sick, injured, abused or abandoned dogs and cats that have nobody else to turn to. I am telling you my story so that you will think of those whose stories you have not read and whose pictures you haven’t seen. They are many.

Please don’t forget them because you are all they have. Click on my picture now to start helping. Thank you.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
