A Sporo Cat From The Market, Neutered

Ah Fatt had earlier requested sponsorship to spay-neuter 6 market cats, but he could not catch any until today.

One cat was caught and brought to our panel vet.

It's a male cat.

However, the vet called to inform me that the cat has a few spots of what appears to be sporotrichosis. The vet said the neutering can proceed, so the cat has been neutered.

I have advised Ah Fatt on the implications, the (usually) prolonged treatment and what needs to be done for a sporo cat. He says he will discuss with his friend, Christopher, and make arrangements for a special cage, isolated from the rest of the market cats, for this sporo cat.

We will subsidise the treatment.

The neutering is sponsored from our funds.
