MINE IS THE FACE OF SUFFERING

They call me Chai Klarng. My appearance alone shows the suffering I�ve endured since being born on the streets just four months ago. My life until now has been nothing but pain. This is the life of a street dog with nobody caring for him.

A severe case of mange has taken its toll on my frail body. My fur is falling out in handfuls and my skin is red raw from allergies. Itchy red sores cover my body. I had been sick for a long time when I was found by a kind lady who took me to the Soi Dog shelter.

Please don�t feel sorry for me now, for I am one of the lucky ones. I�ve been started on treatment funded solely by people like you. The vets are hopeful that I will make a full recovery and become the handsome boy I once was.

Instead, I ask you to think of the others � the ones just like me, but whose stories you haven�t read and whose pictures you haven�t seen. They desperately need you. If you can�t help them, there is nobody else. A life of suffering awaits but YOU can change things.
