DOGS LIKE ME DESPERATELY NEED HOSPITAL CARE
I have lived on the streets of Thailand all my life. Those streets are the only home I’ve ever known. For a long time, I managed to get by but gradually, being all alone in the world began to take its toll. I am 6 years of age now. My name is Cho Chang.
I was found with a seriously infected wound on my scrotum and several old scars on my body. One of my back legs was swollen and I was struggling to put any weight on it. Life on the streets had become a terrible ordeal and I became weak and lethargic. I was in desperate need of help.
Here at the Soi Dog shelter, the vets are tending to the badly infected wound and I am on medication for pain and to kill the infection. I need an x-ray on my leg but sadly, the tiny Soi Dog clinic does not have the special room and machine that is needed for this. This means I need to be sent to a private clinic that can do this.
Dogs like me desperately need a dedicated hospital with the facilities needed to save lives. Without this, there is a very real risk that more of us will die. Soi Dog is now being asked to care for more dogs than ever before, yet is still relying on the small clinic with limited facilities that has been used since day one. Only YOU can change this.
Thanks to people like you, construction continues on a special hospital for the street dogs of Thailand. If completed, it will be the first of its kind and will have all the equipment necessary to save thousands of lives every year. I need YOU to be a part of it.
A shortfall of funds mean your support is now vital if the hospital is to be completed, equipped with everything it needs, and kept running every day of the year. YOU can make this happen by becoming an Angel for Dogs today.
Please be a part of this life-saving facility. Click on my picture to commit to a small monthly gift that will save thousands of dogs like me every year. We simply have no hope without you.
The dogs of Thailand urgently need your help. Soi Dog’s vet clinic is far too small for the number of neglected, injured and abused dogs it cares for and dogs are suffering and dying as a result.
