During the 12 days countdown to Christmas, we bring you 12 heartwarming stories, spotlighting one special member of our SPCA family.

Day five � Noel

A dog need not be pure breed, to be pure of heart.

One such special dog is none other than handsome mid-sized Noel. This almost 5 year old Singapura Special is a fast learner and he knows his basic manners.

Having grown up at the shelter, Noel may initially appear disinterested but given some quality time, he will slowly warm up to you. Once you have gained his trust, he will even lie on his back and allow you to give him belly rubs.

Noel�s size and good temperament qualifies him to be under Project ADORE. Project ADORE enables HDB flat owners to adopt selected medium-sized local mixed breed dogs which are up to 15 kg in weight and 50 cm in height. Interested adopters are allowed to keep only ONE dog per flat and they have to abide by stringent ownership conditions, including the sterilisation, routine vaccination, compulsory training, licensing and microchipping of the adopted dog.
