ST. PETERS BASILICA LIGHTS UP WITH GIANT ANIMAL IMAGES, DELIVERING A STRONG MESSAGE TO SAVE WILDLIFE

The Vatican recently allowed St. Peter’s Basilica to be turned into a huge backdrop for an art show, with images of various endangered animals being projected on to the building.

The goal was to shine a spotlight on environmental issues such as climate change, which are threatening Earth and its inhabitants.

The spectacle coincided with the final days of the climate negotiations in Paris, and is a stunning visual reminder of the wild animals that we share the planet with and our duty to protect them.
