I have never known such fear � I was grabbed from the street, shoved into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us?

I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border.

I don�t know how long we were on this truck but we finally stopped for what felt like a longer time than normal. I heard lots of shouting and felt cages moving underneath me. Why were we being taken off the truck?

These people seemed different � they were looking at us like they cared and were checking if we were OK. We were taken to a big shelter built especially for dogs like us – rescued from the dog meat trade. I have never seen so many dogs.

We are the lucky ones. If it hadn�t been for supporters like you, Soi Dog wouldn�t have been able to save us. We would be dead. Skinned alive and boiled for our meat.

I am now living with thousands of other dogs. I long for my forever home with a comfortable bed, nice food and a family to love me.

I love belly rubs, pats – any type of affection or attention from people. I am good with the other dogs in my run as well. If you have a place in your heart to adopt me please email cristy@soidog.org.

I have heard great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and am not fussy � I would like to live in any one of these places. My only request is that it is with a family who loves me.
