PLEASE MAKE A CALL TO HELP THIS RACCOON

A raccoon has been stuck on top of a telephone pole across from the Berlin Massachusetts (USA) Post Office on Pleasant Street since early Thursday morning, Dec. 10. Observers said that it seems like its front left paw might be injured and preventing it from coming back down. Until the power is shut off on those live wires, rescuers can’t reach the animal.

So now we ask if you can politely call National Grid and ask for their cooperation in shutting the power off briefly to allow rescuers to safely ascend. This toll-free phone line will probably only work for callers within the USA.
