PLEASE MAKE A CALL TO HELP THIS RACCOON

A raccoon has been stuck on top of a telephone pole across from the Berlin Massachusetts (USA) Post Office on Pleasant Street since early Thursday morning, Dec. 10. Observers said that it seems like its front left paw might be injured and preventing it from coming back down.

WILL YOU HELP US GET HIM DOWN?

The utility pole was thought to belong to National Grid but we are told it is a Verizon pole. So now we ask if you can politely call. These toll-free phone lines will probably only work for callers within the USA.

We have hit a wall at this point. Volunteers have called both lines multiple times and were told no help would be sent. There is a professional with a cherry picker truck ready to ascend and rescue the raccoon. Permission to do so is needed.
