THANK YOU FOR HELPING THE ANIMALS, TEACHERS!

From the 27th-30th October, a group of trainee teachers organised and held a fundraising roadshow for ACRES. This commendable effort was by Group 2 of the Group Endeavours in Service Learning (GESL) module at NIE (National Institute of Education). Over just 3 days, they raised an impressive $1,207.85!

During their roadshow, the GESL Group 2 helped to garner support for ACRES and our efforts to end animal cruelty from NIE students and staff by talking to them about our work, selling their self-designed postcards and stickers, and setting up a photo booth for people to make a photographic statement to support ACRES.

Their efforts will go a long way to help the animals! We would like to say ‘Thank you, Teachers!’

One of the best ways to help animals is to talk to others about animal protection issues and encourage them to support organisations that are working to end animal cruelty. If you have a fundraising idea and would like to find out more about helping ACRES, do let us know by emailing our Education Executive Edwina at edwina@acres.org.sg.
