I was saved from torture and slaughter for a Vietnamese dinner plate. Will you please ADOPT me?

EMAIL all questions to cristy@soidog.org

I am a 5 year old girl called Reece and this is my story. I was snatched in the dead of night, crushed into a tiny cage with many other dogs, and driven away on a truck to cross the border out of Thailand.

I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me. It was terrifying with so many other dogs barking and crying out in pain.

It is only thanks to YOU that Soi Dog was able to rescue me and I now live in a purpose-built shelter with hundreds of other survivors of the barbaric dog meat trade. Some days are good and some days are bad. I am a little bit shy, but you would be too if you had to live with so many others.

I am learning to cope, but I am not used to living in a shelter. I long for my own family to love, a family that will be patient and caring, and give me the love I need to become the confident dog I once was.

Soi Dog wants to help me find a forever home so if you have a place in your heart to adopt me please EMAIL cristy@soidog.org.

I can be adopted to the UK, EU, USA or Canada and Soi Dog will organise all the paperwork and process.

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends survivors of the Asian dog meat trade to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise every step of it for you. Please email all questions to cristy@soidog.org
