PLEASE HELP DOGS LIKE ME GET THE HOSPITAL WE NEED

I was born on the streets of Thailand where I have lived my whole life. My name is Matada and, despite my appearance, I am only 4 years of age. I have simply experienced a lifetime of suffering.

I was found by a lady who feeds the street dogs in her community. She could see how weak I was, how I was too scared to lift my head in her direction. Her horrified gaze took in my emaciated body, her concerned eyes counting each one of my protruding ribs. She contacted Soi Dog Foundation.

I am just one example of why the street dogs of Thailand desperately need a dedicated hospital. When the vets examined me, I heard them talk of skin problems and worms. They used words like �severe mange� and �alopecia�. But I was just one of so many�

Soi Dog Foundation is now being asked to care for more dogs than ever before � yet it is still using the same tiny clinic it has used since day one. There is simply nowhere else for us to go. It is small and cramped, filled with the sick and injured and � crucially � lacks the equipment needed to treat us.

I am slowly making progress since I was rescued, but dogs like me deserve better. We deserve to get the medical attention we need in a facility that can cope with all of us and has everything needed to treat us.

Thanks to people like you, work continues on the new dog hospital, with the intention that it will have everything required to care for injured or sick dogs like me. Yet more funds are desperately needed if this is to become a reality. YOU can help now by becoming an Angel for Dogs.
