MY HEART BROKE AS I WATCHED MY OWNER DRIVE AWAY

I got so excited when my owner put me in the car. Were we going somewhere for a long walk? My tail wagged at the adventure in store.

When we arrived at the long, deserted beach, my tail wagged faster. This was going to be a fun walk!

I am still so confused about what happened next; I don�t know what I did wrong. My owner simply lifted me out of the car, dumped me on that lonely beach, and drove off without me. My heart broke.

My name is Peros and I am a 4 year old Pitbull boy. My life has been changed forever and I don�t understand why. Even though I loved my owner, I hear the vets say that he obviously didn�t take very good care of me. I have problems with my skin and my eyes and I am weak and emaciated.

They say I have something called entropion, which means my eyelids are folding inwards. Left untreated, this can cause ulcers or tears on my corneas. The plan now is to build up my strength so that I can have surgery to fix this.

I owe everything to people like you. When I was found by the staff of a hotel at the end of the beach, they called Soi Dog. But without existing Soi Dog supporters, I could never have been taken in and cared for.

Without these kind-hearted animal lovers who send help for animals like me every month, I don�t want to think how my story would have ended.
