DEEN GETS (A LITTLE BIT) BULLIED BY THE BOYS IN THE HOOD!

Deen, an Indian star tortoise at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (identified in the photo by his ‘new boy on the block’ clean carapace) recently finished his quarantine period and joined the other star tortoises outdoors. He was immediately investigated by some of the senior and more ‘seasoned’ tortoises!

As you can see from the photo, the senior tortoises paraded their seasoned and dirty shells (thanks to the monsoon season) and cornered Dean in such a way that it’s almost as if they were reminding Dean who’s the boss around here! But not to worry: tortoises are simply curious animals, and Dean has already mixed well with the group and is doing well outdoors!
