Who knows how long I would have suffered were it not for people like you?

I am a 7 year old boy and life on the streets was not kind to me. My name is Nosipho and I was found by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog. The first thing he noticed was how much I struggled to walk. My left hind leg appeared to be causing me terrible pain.

I was scared when that man picked me up. Life on the streets makes you wary of humans, but since being at the shelter, I am learning to trust them. The vets here examined me and found severe injuries to my leg and a large mass inside the leg, both of which were causing me problems in walking. They will never know how I came to get these injuries and sadly, I can never tell them.

The extent of my injuries were such that it was sadly too late to save my leg but the vets promised me that I would be asleep when they removed it and would feel nothing. Now that my surgery is over, I am discovering what it is like to live a life free from pain. The vets say I will soon be running around just like four-legged dogs.

None of this would have been possible without the people who funded all my medical care. The street dogs and cats of Thailand have nobody else to help them – it is only kind animal lovers like YOU that can save our lives and, without people like you, I would still be suffering today.

Will YOU please commit to helping more animals like me? It really doesn’t take a lot to make a difference – a small, monthly gift from you means thousands of dogs and cats can be helped every year. Without you, our only future is a lifetime of suffering.

Please help us. Click on my picture now to change the world for those who have nobody else to turn to. You truly are their only hope.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
