JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE DOG MEAT TRADE

Boonrod was found crushed into a tiny cage in the corner of a primitive dog slaughterhouse. In the picture below on the left, you can see the conditions in which he was discovered. He was minutes from being slaughtered.

Acting on a tip-off, police and Soi Dog undercover investigators raided the premises, the dog butcher was arrested, and Boonrod was freed.

Traumatised from his ordeal, he was taken to our shelter for months of care and nurturing, to get him back to the trusting dog he once was. Fortunately for Boonrod, with love and patience, his faith in humans returned and he learnt to wag his tail again.

Last month, we kissed Boonrod goodbye, as he left us for his forever home with Paola in Italy. The picture on the right is Boonrod in his new home. Thank you Paola for loving him and giving him this chance.

Please help us keep the pressure on the dog meat trade. So much progress has been made and YOUR support is now vital in the battle to save more dogs, to shut down more butchers, and to end one of the biggest animal welfare concerns in the world.

Boonrod is safe, thanks to people like you who took action. Will YOU please take action too? Click on the photos of Boonrod to join the fight against the dog meat trade. We are getting there, but only with your support can it be ended for good.

As you read this, there are dogs in Asia being tortured then slaughtered for their meat. Soi Dog urgently needs money to rescue them, repair their broken bodies, and help find them loving homes. Please donate a few dollars a month to help them.
