Sometimes miracles happen.
Judy sent out the adoption request and within the same day, someone from KL responded. The adopter drove all the way from KL to Ipoh to ferry Prince (the dog) back. Prince was taken to the vet for a check-up and had blood tests done too. And he was groomed!
Here’s the story:

Dear all
I am so very pleased to inform that Prince has been adopted. His new owner from KL came to fetch him after work on Thursday 19 Nov. Prince was taken to the vet the next morning for blood test & a check-up, given a good bath and shaved. I was told he’s now totally bald. Blessings to Prince’s new owner for their prompt response, kindness and compassion.
Below a few pix of Prince taken when I went over to help my neighbor, Ong, cut Prince’s matted clumps of hair. Ong had gone over earlier to give Prince a quick bath when I told him that he would be taken to KL later late evening. Ong had proceeded to cut Prince’s matted hair but it was difficult to do so by himself. When I went over, I held Prince while Ong did the much needed trim. Ong was not able to trim all the matted clumps as they were too close to Prince’s skin. We did as much as we could that hour with Prince.
It was the 1st time I had seen Prince and I was taken aback by the knotted clumps of hair on him. Despite his condition, Prince was extremely gentle & friendly. I was introduced to Prince’s owner and she thanked Ong & I profusely for cutting his hair and finding a good home for him.
I was quite surprised that Ong didn’t know Prince’s name. I thought he had mentioned that his name was Prince. It appeared that it was I who had named him Prince after seeing the pix he sent me. Ah well, Prince will live up to his name now that he’ll be loved and well-cared for.
Yet another happy tale this month of a bright new beginning.
Prince looking like a lonesome beggar with matted hair , soon to be transformed to a charming and handsome Prince in a loving home!
Kind regards
judy
