THEY WATCHED ME WALK AND LEARNT THE HEART-BREAKING TRUTH

I am nearly 7 years of age now and tired after a lifetime on the streets of Thailand. I have had to battle for too long competing for food, for shelter, for territory. Just fighting to stay alive. My name is Tua Kiaw.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter with some terrible health problems. I was covered in ticks and shockingly weak. Both my eyes had clouded over with late-stage cataracts, my right eye popping out of its socket.

The vets observed me as I stood in the clinic. Every time I tried to walk, I bumped into something. It was the legs of the examination table first, then the wall. Picking me up gently, they examined me further and realised the devastating truth. I had been living on the streets in total darkness. I am blind.

YOU are essential to dogs like me. There is nobody else who can help us; YOU are our only hope. My right eye had to be removed and I was also started on treatment for my tick infestation. My long suffering is at an end thanks to the compassionate animal lovers who funded my treatment.

Where will the next dog turn? Every day, street dogs like me suffer with illness and injuries that can be treated with YOUR support. A small, regular gift from you means Soi Dog knows just how much it has to work with. Without you, there is nothing.

Please stand up for dogs like me and be a part of our healing. We all deserve a second chance but it cant happen without you. YOU can change the world for thousands of dogs every year and no amount is too small to achieve this. Please click on my picture now to end the suffering.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
