This is a request from Sherlyn Hoh (0146276884):

I found a kitten today near a drain covered with big red ants. It is underweight (weighs about 250gm) and is as big as my palm. Tried to feed it with kitten tuna, kitten biscuits, cat milk and water but it refused to eat or open its mouth. Took it to the vet. Vet found a big red ant in its anus. Also another ant hooked on its body. It's literally in bones. Doc says he's around 6-7 weeks (judging from the teeth) but size of about 4-5 weeks.
After a check-up, doc said it's intestines are very hard like rubber and filled with gas. Probably it's not been eating and defecating for some time. Its body is also infested with fleas.
Doc also found out its hind legs were filled with pus, due to an injury. Doc said he'll get it cleaned up and treated.

I have already 7 stray cats in my house and also due to its sad condition and my time constrain, I can't take care of another kitten. So, I left him at the vet to do the necessary treatment including boarding.
I am not working, and I'm studying. I teach tuition once a week to pay for the expenses of the 7 cats I have at home now (food, vaccination, neutering/spaying). I also have rescued about 8 other cats and re-homed them.

The doc said the usual price for boarding a day is RM23 but he'll give me for RM18/day. This does not include the treatment, antibiotics and special a/d food for the kitten so I would appreciate some help. Is there any way you can help to home this kitten or know of anyone who is willing to? I'm extremely tight financially so I really need help.

After communicating with Sherlyn, what she actually needs are:

1. Financial help with the medical bill (which we will provide).
2. A fosterer to look after the kitten so that the kitten can be discharged and Sherlyn would not have to pay boarding fees.

If you can help foster this kitten (who still needs nursing care), kindly contact Sherlyn at her hp given above.

Thank you.
