YOU ARE THE ONLY HOPE KA-NA HAS

I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH. PLEASE HELP DOGS LIKE ME.

When they found me, I had a serious injury to my left eye and could no longer see out of it. I was also being destroyed by a shocking case of mange � my fur was falling out and I was covered in crusty, scabby sores. Just when they thought I couldn�t possibly suffer any more, they found a tumour.

I am a boy called Ka-Na and I am about 5 years of age. I have lived on the streets my whole life, like so many others. I managed to get by okay but things get tough for a street dog when you fall ill or get injured. This is why we desperately need you � there is nobody else to help us. Nobody.

I was picked up by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog and brought to the shelter. It was sadly too late to save my damaged eye, which had to be removed. It�s okay, they made sure I was asleep when this happened and so I felt nothing. I cannot tell you how good it feels to no longer suffer with that painful eye.

Thanks to people like YOU, I have now been started on treatment for the mange I am suffering from and the tumour has also been removed. I have a long journey to recovery ahead of me but, unlike so many, I am one of the lucky ones. I have been given a second chance by the kind people funding my treatment.
