I managed to peep in on Hero this evening just before the clinic closed for the day. The vets says he is doing well.
Hi Hero!
He mewed loudly, sat up and walked towards the door when he saw me.
He definitely looks so much better today, compared to yesterday.
He's quite photogenic, isn't he? I'll bet he can earn a good living working as a male feline model for catfood advertisements.
Look at those eyes!
Good boy, Hero...
I offered some kibbles, but he didn't want any. After awhile, I managed to make him eat just a few bites. Quite a bit of the kibbles are spilled out of the bowl, too.
The vet assistant told me later that Hero had just been force-fed AD and he had eaten it all up. The vet said he even played with the kibbles in the cage after that.
Poor Hero must be feeling so bored sitting inside a cage. Nothing stimulating except three solid walls, the door and the bowls of kibbles and water.
Don't worry, Hero...you'll be discharged soon, and you'll get to fly again!
Hero underwent surgery for an abdominal hernia. He was also neutered. Both surgeries were sponsored from our funds.
