PLEASE SAVE ME FROM A SAD AND LONELY LIFE!

My name is Chondy. I am a male cat of just over 3 years and have been at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand, for over 10 weeks now.

Please email teresa@soidog.org to adopt me.

My story is bittersweet. I was rescued from a home where I could not be looked after properly. Soi Dog took me in and took good care of me. I am well fed and the vets take good care of my health.

There is a problem though. I am FeLV positive. This means I have the feline leukemia virus. This does not mean I will not make a good pet though! Far from it! I must be kept indoors and I will need to go to a home where no other cats reside, or with cats that are also FeLV positive. But that is it!

At the moment, I live in isolation so as not to make the other cats here sick, but it is no life. Granted, I am well looked after, but I do not get to play and run around like I see the other cats do.

If I came to live with you, I could be made a fuss of and maybe have my own toys to play with! That would be lovely. I am playful and affectionate when given the chance to be so. I would make a fuss of you in return!

In terms of my ongoing health, all I need is a visit to the vet every now and again, to ensure my health remains as it should. Otherwise I am really no different to any other cat!

Please email teresa@soidog.org to adopt me.

For more information on FeLV, please get in touch with Soi Dog directly, or alternatively, please visit this link: https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/cat-care/feline-leukemia-virus

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends rescued animals to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise everything for you. Please email teresa@soidog.org with all enquiries about Chondy.
