Chacris had hot oil thrown over him in an unbelievable act of savage cruelty. How his story ended will restore your faith in humanity…

When this beautiful boy arrived at our shelter, his condition would have made the most hardened animal rescuer weep. Having been deliberately scalded with boiling oil, the suffering and agony was evident in his eyes. One entire side of his body was severely burnt.

His burns were so badly infected they were infested with maggots and he was also covered in fleas and ticks – testament to a life of neglect on the streets.

Thanks to YOU, we were able to take Chacris in, treat his burns, and heal his broken spirit. He responded well to his treatment, and went on to make a remarkable recovery. His shattered trust was re-built and his confidence around people gradually returned.

Meanwhile, a lady named Kimberley, who lives in Ontario, Canada, spotted Chacris on our Facebook page and got in touch to say she would like to adopt him. The rest is history…

Chacris recently left our shelter and embarked on the long journey to his forever home in Canada. Kimberley tells us he has already settled in and bonded well with her other dog! Thank you Kimberley for giving Chacris the home he so deserves.

This beautiful boy could only be helped because of YOUR support. Please show the world what you are achieving for animals like him every day by sharing his story!
