PIONEER JUNIOR COLLEGE KAIROS WORK SHADOWING/ VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME

ACRES is blessed with the support we receive from various partners. Pioneer Junior College is one of our valued partners, and we enjoy collaborating with them through their student volunteering programme. This is our second year participating in the PJC Work Shadowing Programme.

This year, four energetic students – Nadiah, Jian Zhong, Ryan and Yan Hui – were chosen to volunteer at our wildlife rescue centre, from the 12th to 22nd October. During their time here, the PJC students proved themselves to be very capable of carrying out tasks assigned to them.

On behalf of our staff members and all the animals at ACRES, we thank Pioneer Junior College for your support, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
