My name is Delton. I am a 6 month old street cat. Life is tough for us, but it�s the only life I�ve ever known. Danger lurks around every corner and in my case, I very nearly died after being ferociously attacked by a pack of dogs.

I was found by a lady called Khun Jantima, who was horrified by the extent of my injuries, and raced me to the Soi Dog shelter. Even the vets were shocked by the injuries I�d sustained. They didn�t think I would make it.

At the Soi Dog shelter, they said I had something called peritonitis. This meant my tummy was very painful from where those scary dogs had bitten me. I also had something very dangerous called septicaemia. This is very serious blood poisoning, which could easily have killed me. At this point, things really did not look good for me.

The Care for Cats Club was created to help seriously sick or injured cats like me. It is made up of people just like YOU � animal lovers all over the world who want to help the suffering cats and kittens of Thailand. Without the Care for Cats Club, so many cats would die lonely, painful deaths due to a lack of vital medical care.
